Duc Nguyen is a graphic designer, printmaker, and Riso print artist, whose work delves into the narratives of identity, focusing on their Vietnamese heritage and Queer identity. Originally from Vietnam, he is now creating artworks to explore personal and cultural stories. With a foundation in graphic design, Duc has expanded his expertise into different forms of printmaking. He is currently working on his BA in Studio Art/Visual Art at Denison University.
His art practice is a critical investigation into the intersectionality of identity, using their own experiences to illustrate broader social issues. Duc wants to advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and cultural understanding using his art, aiming to create spaces for dialogue and reflection through his work. Their contributions to the art world and community engagements highlight the importance of representation and inclusivity. His artistic, scholarly, and community works advocate for LGBTQIAS+ rights and other Social Issues.
